I've had the pleasure of calling Cedar Run my home pre and post pandemic. The office staff is so amazing. I've had some financial issues and whenever I've had to call or stop by they always treat me with compassion and dignify. My heart goes out to the office staff when they have to communicate a maintenance issue. This is an older property like a classic car it takes time to get her looking like her glory days. The amenities they offer over-sized suites, walk in closets, balconies on every unit super hot water an elevator. The trees and open space between the buildings is well taken care of. Some dog owners could do a better job at clean up. Summer out door pool with a covered BBQ area. Indoor gym and pool and a quaint business center. It is quit the oasis they have created just off Leetsdale. The maintenance crew are always friendly and curtious when they have been in my home. The work orders are completed as quickly as possible and I always feel confident in their work. They work so hard to keep the property clean. I appreciate all you do. The apartment is not bad at all. Spacious, clean, affordable enough. The staff is nice and responsive. The manager is great. They have a gym and a pool, the place is green, pet friendly. Residents leave their trash just about anywhere. But if you're a pig, there's very little the management can do. They got rid of the nasty geese and the ancient, smelly carpet in the hallways. All positive changes so I'm giving them multiple 5 star reviews as managing such a humongous property is not as easy.

The apartment itself looks great and spacious. For the rent you pay, not bad. There were a couple of things that still need to be fixed since I moved in but they are minor jobs. I will wait and see if maintenance will come by to fix it sometime soon. You will hear your neighbors very randomly but to be honest the community is quiet and respectful. Hopefully, it stays that way. It's decent, affordable, and also a great place to live if you're trying to start somewhere new. Besides some minor details, we'll update the rating later on and see if anything changes.

7/15/2020This place used to be one star because of the previous management company but the new owners have been angles. Max properties(previous) just put bandaids on stuff instead of fixing problems and every year my heater would leak as soon and it was switched to ac. After guilt took over they fixed that problems asap and had to work on an out dated system of hot water pipes that turned off all the building at once. The new staff care about resolving issues and have already giving us 800 dollars in help for problems like water or power being out 2/15/2021 not going to change my review because once again I am so happy with the speed guilt properties have been handling this terrible situation. Currently my bathtub has 2 inches of frozen water and the pipes to the toilet have full frozen. They are working diligently with plumbers everyday to try and get this fixed and I appreciate how quickly management got back to me after I emailed them.

Then, it was sold again (spring 2020). The new company immediately started correcting things that had been neglected. Part of reason for moving was bad AC. The new ownership fixed it properly (before 2020 summer heat peaked) and really let (and funded) the manager and staff take better care of the property. We might have stayed due to the new company except I am very ill and our new place is much closer to the treatment center. Our move was unintentionally scheduled during covid lockdown. Our move-in was pushed out at the new place and movers cancelled and many of the things that could go wrong during covid went wrong. The management team was very reasonable when working with me. And, then when I got the remainder of my deposit - the charges were exactly what I expected at reasonable costs (not inflated). I almost forgot to mention how awesome the view of the mountains was from our deck.

I’m so in love with this apartment building. The ladies in the office are incredible, the maintenance man is such a gentleman, and the stray cats are an added bonus as far as I’m concerned! All the neighbors are so nice this guy even offered to help us move our couch up when we got here a few weeks ago. I’m not sure what the situation was before this management took over, but I’m blown away so far. Highly recommend Cedar Run.

Hats off to the leasing agent Vanessa!🎉🥇🎊 I'm disabled and from day one she's gone above and beyond her job description (I'm sure) to ensure my safety and our satisfaction. My husband and I absolutely appreciate Vanessa not only for her patience and professionalism and getting things done (even if, on occasion, she has to personally do it herself), but her ability to show genuine concern for her tenants followed up with action!!! This company certainly struck gold when they employed Vanessa here at Cedar Run Apartments. I'm sure their not paying her enough...GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE ALREADY!!! I've lived at Cedar Run for 2 years and during my 2nd year, the complex switched managment. I have to admit that the new managment team is doing their best to get the place back up and running since the last owners seemed to run it into the ground. While AC is still an issue sometimes, they do their best to fix it as early as possible. Lauren in the front office is amazing and always so kind and patient whenver we go in to ask her about a problem. The maintenice guy, Muso, is equally friendly and always does a fantastic job to fix any problems we have in our apartment.

I've lived here just over a year now and I haven't had any major issues. I was very hesitant to move here based on previous reviews, but I am so glad that I did. It's a good updated apartment, especially for the price. The heat works well in the winter, and the ac works well in the summer. The gym and pool are open throughout most of the day and later evenings. It is a very pet friendly building. The laundry area is small but not super busy so it's exactly what I need. They just started locking the laundry facilities and passing out keys to residents, which is a nice security feature. The package reception is also super great. I frequently order things online and have yet to lose a package. The office staff have been nothing but friendly in my experience. Moran was the one who initially gave us the tour and helped us sign the lease. I would highly recommend working with him. I've only had a few simple maintenance issues (lightbulb changes, etc) and they were taken care of within a week. They have been working on the hot water recently, but always give a couple days notice before shutting off water so it hasn't been inconvenient at all. I personally haven't noticed any issues with the water, but I don't mind the repair since they give good notice about it. This place is walking distance from King Soopers, which is awesome. It is also right next to 83 route bus stop, which makes transportation very convenient. I would recommend at least giving this place a chance, I know I'm glad that I did!

This place used to be one star because of the previous management company but the new owners have been angles. Max properties(previous) just put bandaids on stuff instead of fixing problems and every year my heater would leak as soon and it was switched to ac. After guilt took over they fixed that problems asap and had to work on an out dated system of hot water pipes that turned off all the building at once. The new staff care about resolving issues and have already giving us 800 dollars in help for problems like water or power being out

The office staff were very accommodating and transparent about building issues, and even gave a 25% discount on a month that there were severe issues with the building for one week.

Previously I left a bad review on this complex but due to change of ownership I’m coming back and editing my review. I know longer have to deal with terrible staff ignoring all the problems with the complex and now have a staff that is dedicated to making this a nice place to live! While they still have a ton of work to do it seems as if the new owners are taking charge and going after every little thing while adding modern upgrades as well. I do wish however some of the people that live here would stop vandalizing the property and give them a chance. Only thing I would recommend for this complex at this time is key cards to get into your buildings. I’ve lived here for almost 4 years now and have had terrible expierences with the previous owners of the complex but so far with the new owners I’m very pleased in the fact they are going about making repairs the rite way so it last and not just limping it through the season (the water and air conditioning that is) as you see there are a lot of complaints about that. Well as a renter here at cedar run I’ll be the one to update everyone once the final repair was made my air conditioning has been colder than it’s ever been and my water hotter than it’s ever been. Major thank you to the new owners of the complex keep up the good work

I have lived here for over 3 years and, like every apartment complex, there have been challenges: rude staff, no water/hot water/heat/AC, terrible neighbors (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) - those things also happen to home owners. BUT, when it happens to home owners, they have to take care of the problem themselves. Not at Cedar Run - the old owners and now the new owners have always been very forthcoming when it comes to dealing with problems on both a property and individual level and they are handled efficiently and effectively. Notes are posted in public areas and on each individual door when there are any property issues. I would recommend this apartment complex, to someone who was looking, for those reasons and more. The decks are HUGE and the walls are concrete (meaning quieter neighbors ;-) ). There are THREE pools (one is indoor!), a fitness center, indoor racquetball courts and even a beach volleyball court. Not only that, but it is very close to 4 major bus routes, grocery stores, restaurants, etc... It's really nice here and I love it, even if things aren't always idyllic.

I’ve been living here at this complex for 2 years. The accommodations are great! The maintenance guys come right away everytime I have an issue. The management/reality team has changed over the years, but I have never disliked one of them. They are always helpful, and do whatever they can to get me what I need! I was really sad when one of our favorite office people, named Moran, left. But I am so happy to still go In the office and be greeted with a huge smile and welcome hands! There is a new guy named Aldo, and he is the nicest, happiest person. He had helped me get things printed and pick up packages; and knowing that asking a lot of favors can be annoying, he did it with a huge smile, and asked me about my day etc. I am very satisfied with cedar run apartments and maxx properties. This is a great place to live. Highly recommend.

Almost didn't move here based on the bad reviews but something must've changed because we really like it here! Very spacious and good price for the area. There's a king super walking distance from here and we have had no problems with the building or anything. The pools and gym (they actually have free weights and way more than just a treadmill ) are great and the staff is friendly. We did have a leaky sink when we moved in but they were here the next day to fix it. I also love the court yards where I walk my dog and the big patios.

I would like to acknowledge Michele Solo, the manager of the property. Over the months at Cedar Run, if I had an issue that needed to be addressed, she would make sure that the right people were on the job and that it would be taken care of promptly. I appreciate her so much for making me feel taken care of and looked after. Even after I had moved out, I would still swing by when I was passing through the area to say hello. Cedar Run was my first time leasing an apartment and she set the bar for following property managers to come. The property is going through renovations (they had just started the outside piece when I left) They look great, have large spacious floor plans, nice amenities, convenient location, and from what I was starting to see the outside look like, they will be great. The price is great for the unit quality, location, and amenities. It is also on a major bus line (79/83L- runs cross town from Aurora to Downtown). I commuted by bus and lightrail for most of my stay at Cedar Run and never had a problem, it was extremely convenient! This apartment community is older so some fixes could be expected and the parking lots get full at night, but looking back, I would rate this place 4/5 stars. I also have to state that I did have bedbugs in my unit, but the property paid for fumigation by a great licenced pest control company, after spraying I did not have any bedbugs in the unit. I also would have to say that the overall noise level of the community was a bit louder than I would have liked. I really enjoyed living here, I only relocated to be closer to work.
